8th Cpl. Andrew Miller Hyndman, Company F, 10th Missouri Infantry US
Hyndman did not die due to conflict or wounds, he died in Corinth the day after the end of the Battle of Corinth due to chronic diarrhea. This is an interesting image. It would be hard to imagine what was going through Hyndman's mind as he was laying there sick, yet could hear the Battle of Corinth going on around him, only to die the day after the battle ended.
