Pvt. John Henry Osborne, Company A, 14th Wisconsin Infantry
Enlisting at age 14 on 18 January 1862 (September 1861 according to his bio), Osborne served as a private and he also served as drummer. He was wounded at Shiloh "by a bullet to the head" on 7 April 1862. He served until the end, mustering out on 9 October 1865 in Mobile, Alabama. A native of New York, he lived in San Bernardino, California after the war, he is buried there in Pioneer Memorial Cemetery.
