  1. Freeman’s Battery the Artillery of Nathan Bedford Forrest will be set up for the upcoming anniversary this weekend at the Shiloh Museum at the intersection of Hwy 57/22 for anyone who has not done so we are offering the chance to fire a War Between The States Cannon hope to see y’all there

  3. Some of us are serving with Mr Mark James,we have a couple of projects in mind once we get rolling again one we're thinking on will be in the Shiloh area

  5. Some of us are serving on a gun , a lot are just camping spending time on the park and trying to raise money for another monument

  10. i rode around the park today after church and it seems they lookn out for us,they have done some burning quite a bit of it i guess they trying to kill them ticks and posion oak out for us
  11. far as his escort goes he had confederate governor of tennessee isham g. harris, his brother in law i think william preston and doctor yandell his personal physcian whom he left to care for the enemy jus prior to his death

  15. yea camping would b great,i think u can camp right across from fraley field build a good fire were we could all hang out and have a council of war jus like they did before the attack

  17. hello everyone hope everyone is well i havent been on in a while, ive got a friend who has a artillery round found at shiloh yrs ago we were trying to figure out what type it is i have not seen it yet but he says its is of the bullet type,conical,i was wondering which guns fired this type round i dont believe the rodmans were around at shiloh i was thinks mayb the james,but he does not think it to b that then i thought mayb parrot gun ,mayb yall can help me on this ,thought you might know about this too Ron thanks perry neal

  22. right on Ron it fits perfect with what u said he would have put those men in motion to complete the victory cause he knew it was do or die but he died so went shiloh,vicksburg ,and in my opinion the war

  24. very well said Ron ,thats why in my opinion they needed that great leader Albert Sydney Johnston to push that attack on like hed been doing all day,but he was not there to do so
