NEW ON THE FRONT LINE

Recommended Posts

Thanks to Mona for telling me about this site.  I am 72 years young, still roam the fields and woods at Shiloh with my 10 month old puppy, Belle.  I own a small part of the original battlefield, I use to be a relic hunter, "I DO NOT HUNT THE PARK", thank you very much.  I helped put on the Memphis Civil War Show for 30 years, have many friends that are experts on the subject of the war and items from it.  On the board of directors of the Mid-South Military Museum in Atoka, TN, have a display at the new museum at Shiloh, Larry DeBerry's Museum.

I have been coming to Shiloh park for over 50 years, and never get tired of coming here; did the Living History here for almost 20 years as part of Bankhead's Battery, Co "B" 1st Tenn. Light Artillery.

Hi Gene.....

As one of the moderators and original members of the Shiloh Discussion Group, let me welcome you to the board.  I bet that puppy, Belle, is a cutie and good companionship to you as you walk the battlefield.  Glad Mona persuaded you to join our little group.
