Civil War Trust

Recommended Posts

I believe Yes would be your answer.  Its been years since I was there but it fits with the map from the Civil War Preservation Trust.  I remember a fence line along the southern park boundary which ran from Gladdens Mortuary monument on Eastern Corinth Road, east past the Spain farm.  The property continued further east into the woods and the Spain Ravine.  A one story white house in the field along with a cannon made of wood (I think).  I posted about this cannon but got no usable information.   This wood cannon reproduction was in bad shape then.  I took a picture of it while standing in the Spain field.  There were no residents evident.

Yes Jim,

It was close to the flight path they used in 1990.  They now use a new flight path near the control tower.  Watch out for bull ____.
